Hd. Qrs. C. S. Cavalry Washinton Ga. 9 May 1865 Lt Mann U.S. Army Comdg H I understand some of my Command were acting badly in Washington last night, And have ordered an investigation and the arrest of all Concerned, As yet I have found but two men who were guilty of misconduct, Viz Lt Yeagin & one Private of Co G. 9th Ky Williams Brigade both of whom have been arrested I regret any misconduct of any Confederate Soldiers And will go as far as is in my power to remedy it, Please inform me by Courier. How much corn you can Spare us tonight, I have sent to the Country to Try to get, but dont know what success we may meet with Very Respectfully G. G. Dibrell Brig Genl
