Have been disappointed all week in getting our pay Will not get it today either 30thsep New regt the 82 Ind came into our brigade Had a square battalion drill today, do little better than the new troops since our hard marches Keep drawing clothing by small quantities Got orders to prepare to march in the morning October /62. Reveille at 3 A.M, and got off at 7, Passed through a portion of L and took out the road towards Shepards town Had an easy march of 12 miles then halted and (Vertically, at left:-) Left the river on the same day a year ago
