(Vertically, at left:-) Friday Oct 10th We have warm and pleasant nights now just such weather as we need while we are living as we do Are allowed to lie abed, as long as we, please, notwithstanding Gen Buells order, Our Co is now reduced to 33 men, and fair prospects of Its becoming smaller. All of the troops in sight of us have left this morning At 11 we fell in and moved on to, and through Perryville a mile & 3/4 from where lay last night. Halted half mile beyond on the Harrodsburg pike and stacked arms
