leading from L - to Elizabethtown, Passed a bevy of school girls from a Catholic school in the neighborhood. Reached New Market, a little burg of 20 houses, and camped half mile south on a flat near the Rolling Fork About 8 miles today Are all in good spirits (Vertically, at left:-) Thurs 30, Got off in good time, and made a very easy march of 20 miles 8 miles from Campbellsville, a very neat little town of about 200 of a pop, Camped near the orchard of an old farmer, and had quite a fine time looking
