Boston, August 1st, 1866 Thos C. Durant, Esq. New York Dear Sir, I enclose herewith Deed to be executed for the Davenport Mill Lot, which please return to me when the needful is done. -- The Grantee's name is left blank, as the parties in interest have not yet decided to whom it shall be conveyed -- when it is filled in I will advise you. -- I presume the purchasers will be ready to pay as soon as the Deed is returned to Iowa and the title is found satisfactory. -- Yours truly, Jno L. Coffin
