Dear Sir Enclosed find two warranty deeds dated 30th June, 1874 to Thornten Ford for SW 1/4 of NE 1/4 and NW 1/4 of SE 1/4 21.86.8 = 80 acres, [consideration?] $1,600 - terms $1.400 each, balance 1, 2 & 3 year, 10% int annually - and to William E. Marvin for 18 1/4 of SW 21.80.8 - 40 acres, (illegible) $800 - 1/4 cash balance 1, 2, 3 years, 10% annually - This last 40 sold subject to right of way of C. R.R. & Pacific R.R. Both tracts in Johnson Co. - Considered a good sale - Please execute & return here - also execute the "satisfaction Piece" at same time, sent you a few days since - Yours truly Jno L. Coffin
