Dear Sir Yours of 20th inst. rec'd with enclosures as stated, which have been forwarded to Davenport with instructions to collect and remit cash proceeds- Please instruct William Lathen not to affix the certificate of Wm Walsh, Clerk to the deeds, as if in entirely unnecessary under Iowa laws, and cuts $1, Each deed for according - Yours Truly Jno L.
