Davenport, Iowa, Nov 30 1874 Henry C. Crane Esq, Atty New York Dear Sir; I have at length rec'd Lanhard Brack's mortgage to Thomas C. Durant on the E2SW4 31. 80. 8 duly recorded, and enclose the same herewith, with assignment in blank written thereon. Am very sorry so much delay received but it was unavoidable as far as I was concerned, and I trust it hasn't seriously inconvenienced you Yours truly Jno. L. Coffin per J. Howard Henry
