Crane, Esq, Atty Dear Sir: Yours of 24th inst recd with enclosure as stated and I hope to satisfy Mr. Holland as to title by 30th or 31st inst - at farthest, and collect and remit - Taxes for 1874 will amount to nearly $400 - which amount I will retain, and pay them, and remit balance proceeds as soon as rec'd, unless otherwise instructed - Yours truly Jno L.
