Crane, Esq, Atty etc 20 Nassau St New York Dear Sir, Yours of 29th recd, with enclosure as stated, which has been forwarded to Story Co. for prompt settlement. Henry W Holland has paid me $1,200 -- for the Iowa Co. deed and herein please find, Natl Exchange Bank in the Mercantile Natl Bank, N.Y. for Eight hundred dollars ($800) to your debit (encld to you order) and I have retained $400 -- to be applied in payment of '74 taxes, and my commission (5%) on sale to Holland.
