Boston July 29th 1865 Thos. C. Durant Esq Dear Sir I have yours of yesterdays date I have also seen the Williams I have also recd the certificates for the first mortgage bonds. I am hard at work to get stock taken in the credit _ Mr [D?]ickerson thinks he will give us 25.000$ Monday or Tuesday for his Stock - I have got Mr. Alley to agree to take 50. [m?] in our Company. I will I think pay a part of it next week. I am to meet Mr Hooker on Monday I hope to get him to take 100.m. of the stock next week. I am in hopes to be able to write you monday or Tuesday that we have got some money for you on Stock. I shall expect that I have the privilege of selling off the stock. I want
