It contains a check and some suggestions in relations to our [illegible] [illegible] & the North[Western?] co. I do not know where to send the letters to reach him in N.Y. If you will take the [illegible] to give it him if he is in NY. You will oblige me & not mail it to Blairs to our [illegible] or Mr. [illegible] can inform you if he is there Yours Truly Oakes Ames
