For and in consideration of One Dollar to me in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and for other valuable consideration, I hereby sell assign transfer and set over unto Heloise H. Durant all the Bills Receivable now in the Hands of John L. Coffin at Davenport Iowa, said Bills Receivable or notes being in the aggregate amount about Seven thousand Dollars - to be held by the said Heloise H. Durant as collateral security for any and all ? of money due her from me and I hereby give her full authority to receive and collect the said notes as they mature and apply the proceeds to the payment to herself of said moneys due her and if there should be any of said notes or the proceeds remaining after such payment then the same to be paid unto me or my legal representative.
