Pittsburgh, May 26 1868 T. C. Durant Esq V. P. Union Pacific RR 20 Nassau St. New York Dear Sir We understand that your Company are in want of a quantity of Fish Bars and Bolts. We have very extensive facilities for making them and you will oblige us if you will let us know by return mail, the number of Bars and Bolts required and time of delivery; we will be glad to quote you prices. Awaiting your reply, we are Very Truly Jones & Laughlins- PS. If you are not the proper one to address on this subject, will you please hand it over to whoever has charge of this department. J & L
