Local Achievement Day We held our local achievement Day - Oct. 5th. The roads and weather was against us but nevertheless how muddy it was we had a fairly good crowd. If it had of been a nice day, so many people would have come that I'm in doubt of where our leader would have put them. About 10:30 o'clock a crowd was gathering at our leader's home. Soon dinner time was here, and everyone had their basket unpacked and we did justice to a real dinner. A number of fifty four were here. There were fourteen in our club when we chose sides, but one dropped out, then it left us six on One Side and seven on the other. One Side called themselves, "The Busy Bees" and the other The Royal Workers. The two sides had prepared each a booth exhibiting what they had made through the years work and their score. Now for the program, I think we prepared a good program for what time we could spend on it. We all had our school work and of course it came first. The program was as follows: Music -- 2 selections ----------- Grundman Orchestra Songs, American The Beautiful > By the The Gang's All Here Club Introductions of officiers > Leader and club members
