Activities [cont'd] Girls I went to Ames as County President (fianced my own way) I helped serve lunch to the Woman's Organization Meeting I entered Music Memory Contest (County) and received 100% I got 99% in the State Music Memory Contest. I attended the Surprize Party I attended the Nature Hike I helped in Forrestry Pageant I exhibited 25 jars at our Local Achievement Day. Demonstrated on Balanced Meals at Achievement Day. Was in a pantomine at this day. Sang alto in "Good Night" of "Martha." Won a trip to the Club Congress at Chicago. Entered 31 jars at the county fair. I received 4 1sts 4 2nds and 3 3rds premiums Received 1st for best set of Record Books. I attended Grant Twp. Achievement Day. Club Our leader attended the 4-H Banquet held at Ames during Farm and Home week. She gave a talk - "Challenge to the 4-H" at this banquet. Our club exhibited their work at Women's Achievement Day. We held a surprize party on two member, who were leaving us for the summer Held a Local Achievement Day. All members present. Received 1st on poster at County Fair Received 1st on complete set of record books. Had a demonstration team at County fair and won 2nd place. We had two girls in County Health Contest We were all in the 4-H Parade Fair Day in uniforms. Our club took up Forrestry work as our recreationally period. Prepared and served three Balanced meals at our meetings.
