Helen Grundman Prescott, Iowa. They set a full row of seedling peaches. For many years we had peaches by the bushels. Folks laughed and said "What do you plant them for, they never do any good in Iowa." But we have never failed in having as many peaches as we could use. Mother canned two hundred and forth quarts from them two years ago and besides gave many away. People then thought our peach trees were fine. It pays to have trees, fruit or any kind. But we are sorry now as this row is dying out but father has a row almost large enough to bear right side of it, to fills it place. When they set the peach
