34 out of the committee where it now lies, for early and favorable action in the January Session. Adapted by the Executive Board of Iowa League of Women Voters in session oat Des Moines Dec 9-1921. Mrs. Mayer moved that the above resolution be sent to Speaker Mondell of the House of Representatives to Rep. C. C. [Demell?] - Sen. A.B. Cummins and to Senator W.S. Kenyon - Rep. [illegible] and to Rep. Horace. M. Turner. Dr. Stuart moved that the President and Vice President be a committee to arrange with authorities at the University of Iowa for Mrs. Max Mayer's services as organizer for two months or more early in 1922. Seconded - carried. Mrs. Passig moved that Miss Dunlap and Mrs. Tomlinson be added to the above named committee. and that the committee have full power to complete the whole plan of organization. Mrs. Fred Hunter nominated Miss [Krumlis?] of Ames to succeed Dean McKay as chairman of the Home Economics committee of the League. Unanimously approved by the board. Mrs. Pierce re-appointed Mrs. Dewitt to be chairman of Women in Industry " " " " Mrs. Max Mayer " " Citizenship com.
