IX to what the Vice President's salary is. The question being left unsatisfactorily answered was put off until the next meeting. [Amend: Referred to Mrs. Chapman] Mrs. Littell read an interesting paper on "Women in Philanthropy" which elicited many remarks from various members. It was moved and carried that the meeting adjourn until Dec. 19th /91, at the regular time, in case Carrie Lane Chapman would be with the club at that time. If not, the executive committee were to adjourn the meeting, until after the holidays, to the next meeting in regular order Jan. 2nd, 1892. Anna Mahara, Sec'y Charles City, Iowa Dec. 19th/91. Mrs. Carrie Lane Chapman having promised to be in attendance, the third regular meeting of the Political Equality Club was held at the regular time, Dec. 19th
