The following members were present: Mesdames Barney, Boulton, Littell, Griswold, Bear, Chamberlain, Detwiler, Allison, Miner, North, and Miss Mahara. Visitors: Mrs. Chapman, Mrs. A. Hemland. The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved with Mrs. Cham-berlain's amendment that the question of the Vice President's salary was voted to be referred to Mrs. Chapman Communications from President Harrison through his private secretary, E. J. Halford, to Mrs. Bear, and from the private secretary of Jeremiah Rusk to Mrs. Miner were read, as having direct reference to the
