XXIII moved that Mrs. Chamberlain be elected to fill that position; the sec'y seconded the motion. Mrs. Chamberlain was unanimously declared elected as parliamentary leader. The regular program was then taken up by Mrs. Miner's queries in Lesson V. The following list of questions was given by the Instruc-tor for the next lesson_No. VI. 1- How many congressmen in the National Congress? 2. When did the motion to have a national flag originate in Congress? 3. How did the seal of the United States originate? As Mrs. [North?] had not completed her paper on the Subject "Women as Poets," she was given until the next meeting to complete it. A general discussion will follow the paper.
