S.U.I Equal Suffrage Association be made a permanent organization to be disbanded by a majority vote of the members at a regularly called meeting; that the officers be elected this year at this meeting and the officers draw up a constitution to be submitted at the first regular meeting next fall. The motion was seconded. A discussion of the question followed. Motion carried. Clara Goldberg nominated president. Motion made that the nominations cease. Motion seconded, motion carried. Clara Goldberg elected, takes chair. Miss Moody, Miss Tiegar, Miss Gallagher nominated for vice president. Miss Gallagher elected. Miss Moody nominated secretary. Miss Tiegar nominated. Miss Nell Baird nominated. Miss Moody withdrew her name, but her request was refused. While ballots were being counted a discussion of suffrage, and future use of the ballot, took place. Miss Moody & Miss Tieger received an equal number of votes. Vote was cast again and Miss Moody received a majority. Miss Pruit nominated for treasurer
