White Mountain Cake 1 cup butter 3 " sugar 1/2 " sweet milk 3 1/2 " flour 1 teaspoonful cream tartar + 1/2 " soda Whites of 10 eggs Flavor with almonds. Divide the batter into 3 or 4 pans, when baked and cool, put an icing of the whites of 3 eggs & 1 lb. sugar, over each layer then grate cocoanut thickly over. Place the cake together. Put icing & cocoanut over the top & sides.
