28 Berry Cake 1 Tea Cup Sugar 2 Eggs 1 Tablespoonful butter. Teaspoonful soda in milk 1 Tea cup Milk. A little less than a pint of Wortleberries. Flour to make it quite stiff. Quince Syrup. Grate 3 large quinces, add 3 lbs. gran - sugar & 1 qt. water. Let simmer slowly 2 or 3 hours after reaching the boiling point.
