12. An Healing Water for an old sore Take 4 oz: of White Copperas 8 oz: Camphire pound both together in an Earthen Pot, dissolving em over ye Fire, stirring 'em together till they become hard again Then beat it very small, put to it 4 oz: of Bole Aemoniack finely beaten, keep ye Powder in a Bladder 8 Spoonfulls of it in a quart of Spring Water boyl'd w:n cold again use ye [lean?] 13. For the Garter Take two oz: of Bole Aemoniack an oz: of Corus beat small as much as will make it in a Paste, spread it on a Thick Linnen Cloth 3 Fingers broad, sow it above ye Gartering Place, this must be renew'd once a Week or more 14. White Sear cloth Quart of Sallet Oyl, pound of White lead, 4 oz: of Virgins Wax, 2 oz: Camphire, let all This boyl together a little while, before you put ye Camphire on. 15. Soft Yellow Salve Take 2 pound of Butter out of ye Churn, a pound of Wax & as much Rosin & half a pound of wash's Turpentine, boyl all together & drain it from ye Bottom & put it into Pots, but you must boyl ye rest of ye things before you put in ye Turpentine, This is good for any Green wound or Old sore
