The Virtues of the foregoing There is no Cut of Iron &c; (if not mortal) but it heals in 8. Days time by applying it cold with a Feather cotton or Injection Provided you use nothing to it else first & there needs no Tent or plaister, For the Cholick put three or four Drops into a Glass of Claret or white wine, then shake it together, & tho' it do not mix drink it & you will find an immediate Cure. For the Gout it is Sovereign Medicine anointing the place afflicted. For the Tooth-ach it cures it infallibly applied to the Tooth that's vexed with a little cotton. It cures all Ulcers, Cancers & Cankers, It cures the Bites of venomous Creatures especially Mad Dogs, it hinders the Small Pox from pitting striking the Green which come out in the Face as soon as they appear It's good for all Swellings & Corruptions. It's admirable for the Spotted Fever taking 5 or 6 drops in 4 or 5 spoonfuls of Broth, Its good for sore eyes applied to them, It's good for a pain in the Stomach taken in Broth or Wine Its good always to be applied cold, when you take any out of the Bottle you must immediately Stop it again lest it evaporate. When you have dressed a wound with common Medicaments wash it well with hot wine before you apply this Medicine to it & it will cure it tho' not so soon. It cures all Fistula's tho' never so old in any part. It cures Loosenesses or Bloody Flux taking 5 or 6 Drops in a Glass of wine or 2 or 3 spoonfuls of Broth. It cures a Nail &c:a that's run into a Horse's Foot by putting a Drop into the wounds &c;a Probatum est.
