Colour them thus, for Yellow a little turn stick the Juice, of it boil'd beat, for Pink colour for Purple a little Turnstill, for green the juice of Spinnage, for [illegible] White a little allom, for red a little Coochanoll and You may perfume them with a little Musk if you please To Make Makaroons. Take a Pound of Jordans Almonds blanch them in cold Water, beat them well for an hour and more in a Marble Or Stone Mortor, till they are very fine with a Spoonfull of Orange flower water, then take them out and wipe Your Mortor clean, and take the Whites of 6 Eggs and Beat them well together till are White and thick, then Add your Almonds and beat them well together, put to Them 3 Quarters of a Pound of double refind Sugar Finely pounded and Scorch'd beat them together Whilst your Ovon is heating, then lay them upon wires What fashion you please, perfume them with a Grain of Musk dissolved in a little Orange flower Water and put amonst the Almonds take them on Wires or tin plates. Dyet Bread Take 5 Eggs put them into a borad pan take Out all the heads, then with a Whisk whisk them Up, then put in a Pound of [illegible] Sugar, and whisk up Till you can See no Yollow Streams, then put in a Pound of the best flower you can gett, Stirr it in By degrees all one way for fear of lumps, then have Your Ovon ready, and butter your pans, dont fill Them too full but alow for raising, Ice them with Half Sugar half flower, Just as you Let them in the Ovon, and if you make a great cake in a hoop, butter It well and don't fill it foo full, and Ice if as the Other, let your Ovon be no hotter than for tarts Take Care it dont rash and loose the colour, make Maple Biscats the Same way only leave out the Seeds and bake them in long thin biscate pans. Bean Bread. Take a Pound of Jordan Almonds, blanch'd in cold Water Slice them thin, and take a pound of Sugar, 4 whites of Eggs beat to a froth 2 Spoonfulls of Carraway Seeds, a Gram of Musk Steep'd in Rose water, and a
