64 Days, then wring them out, and to every Pint of Liquor a pound and halfe of Eight Penny Sugar, and boil it to a Sirrup, take care you don’t boil it too much to loose the Colour or Candy, and you may infuse them if you Please, and I think it much the better way._._. Sirrup of Elder. Pick your berries in a Sun Shiny day, and strip them into a Stone pott, set them in the Oven with houshold Bread, then strain them out, and to a Pint of Juice a Pound of Sugar, boil it up and Scum it well and very cleane, don’t boile it too thick to loose the Collour, and you may Infuse them if you please._._. Sirrup of Poppy's. Beat the leaves of wild red Poppys, and strain them and to every pint of juice a pound of loaf Sugar, Sarch'd, let it Stand 30 days, stirring it every day, till the Sugar be dissolved then Set it by to keep, Some will set it at 30 days and in a Skillet of water and hay, and let it boile a good while, It's a good Cordiall to cause Sleep, a Spoonfull of it being given in a little Cowslip water._._._. Sirrup of Oranges. Take {8?} right Civill Oranges Squeeze out the Juice and Strain it, and to every pint of Juice 2 Pound of Loaf Sugar, boile it to a pretty thick Sirrup, Take care its not too thick to Gelly or Candy bottle it Up for use._._. Sirrup of Lemmons. Cut your Lemmons in halves and Squeeze out the Juice, and take 2 times their Weight in Loaf Sugar, put the Sugar and Liquor into a Stone pott, Cover it close, Set it in a Skillet of Water, and as it boils Scim it clean, and when you think its enough bottle it up for use, but take great care you don't boile it too high for it will be apt to Candy._ Sirr
