44 Yorke Cakes Take 2 lb of fine flower & a little salt & 1 lb of Butter rub'd very well amongest yor flower then put in yor yest and a little warm watter in one side of ye bowl so mix it alltogether wth half anounce of nutmegg beett so work it a pretty while tell ye Past shine you must work it Light like wiggs & it must be pretty soft, then mix a pound & a quarter of currance well amongst ye Past so make them up wth a little flower as you can for ye less ye bettr & so clapp ym thiner in ye sides yn the midle. 45 Pitty=pattes Roast a chickin as much as for eating pull of the skin and shrad all the meat very small wth beaf suett season it wth sweet hearbs nutmeg cloves mace sinimon & salt put in a little cream the juce of a Lemon and some Lemon pill shrad small mix all well together wth an egg & bake them in petty pans wth Light paist but yo must have no lids 46 A Puding for a hairs Belly Take grated bread beaf suett and the Liver of the hair small shrad some sweet margeroum time and parsilly shrad small put to them some corance nutmeg a little cream and an egg
