"The Firm you inquire about is considered very respectable here and enjoys a good Credit - They have latterly taken up some American Railroad business giving long Credit to some of the Western Roads on Iron &c. but I should think theu would not do more of this business than they could comfortably carry. Mr. Robt. Bruson is the Deputy Chairman of the London & Northwestern Railroad Company. " London 2nd June 1857
