Jany 24th 1857 Thomas C. Durant Esq. New York Dear sir: The unprecedented interuptions to rail road travel in this region of country, during this entire week - caused by the recent storm - has so disarranged my plans, that I cannot be in your City on Tuesday next as I promised. I want to introduce to yr consideration the Car Builder, I named to you, I hope you may find it to your interest to give them the contract for the 200 cars. Providence permitting, I will reach yr City in the course of the coming wk for certain. Respectfully yrs, H. S. MCombs
