Adirondack Company's Railroad. Saratoga Springs, Jan 30th, 1871 T.C. Durant Esq Dear Sir I have settled the McGee business with Mattox in the place we talked over - that is paying du. in full, charging the account the difference between the old inventory and the new, and taking [?] signed by him as Atty. for the Estimates and enough of the other Bills to balance it so far. Will have a detailed statement ready to show when Jim came. My memorandum of funds needed to settle accounts to Jan 1st was nearly $25,000 exclusive of Engine and Hall & McGee accounts. The balance to close Halls and amount pair Mattox. Together
