Saratoga Springs, May 18 1871 H. C. Levanc (?) Esq Dear Sir I send by tonight's St press all the deeds of Right of Way in this office If any one attempts to put them together and make a continuous piece of Right of Way think they will find some trouble. The old and new Deeds are so intermixed, and in the internal then mere so many changes of line and ownership that any one unacquainted with the line would ding it difficult to put them together. Besides there are a few vacancies. I would suggest the (?) of their being returned as soon as you are through with them as we have frequent occasion to refer to them, and besides many of them are not recorded. Yours truly C. H. Ballard
