ADIRONDACK COMPANY'S RAILROAD, SUPERINTENDENT'S OFFICE, Saratoga Springs, N.Y. Nov 29 1872 HC Crane Esq Dr Sir The Bonds came safely to hand yesterday (Thanksgiving) morning. Mr Davison's physician does not think it prudent for him to sit up very long at a time yet although he is gaining slowly every day. It seems that he went up to 60th Street to call in the evening of the day you saw him last - feeling perfectly well - that he sat for an hour or two in a very warm room & then it being late took a street car to ride back to the [Gilsey?] House instead of walking as he did going up - and being not very warmly dressed took a sudden heavy cold which settled in the small of his back and side, giving him at [short?]
