May 22 1873 H. C. Crane Esq Dr Sir I enclose herewith [draft?] for $2000- and another for $1000- both of which are personal loans to me for 10 days. I may possibly be able to carry them after that date for say a week longer, in the office. Will advise you in [season?]- Have not used either of your acceptances. Have had half a dozen pretty good promises but all have fallen through. Possibly by the time I hav to replace this $3000- I can use one of them in Bank, but am not sure. Leavitt is not within search today. but I will tell him what you want as soon as I
