Marion Mine Nov 25th 1855 Dear Brother Enclosed I send you a report of [Capt?] Williams. I have been very busy at this mine for the last four days. Our Tools had become worse for wear and I am getting new ones made [illegible] as Pikes should [illegible] I sent to Columbia D B for a bar of [illegible] for the Pikes. We are [illegible] a [illegible] call tho week and whale have him this other week making Pikes, water Buckets A Slate Baskets and [illegible] and tools I am getting [Luckier?] on the ground [illegible] as [illegible] A [illegible] plants if I knew about other kind of [illegible] tho carpenter could want I would have if on the ground ready The Castings all lay waiting for the Carpenters to put there [when?] I have about one or of ground cleaned up and all ready. There it is [say?] strange there I am not hear from the Carpenter. I shall work for the [August?] this works and [helper?] that I shall are well and then was in sending love to your Family.
