3-1-29-18 I [illegible] hope that you will be able to sell the two [mines?] this fall and winter at any rates I hope you will fill the [illegible] [illegible] I shall try and make as good a there as [illegible]. If my health is no better and I can [illegible] to have the chills and fever I shall leave the fourth and go north for this is a [illegible] [illegible] to be sick in, [is-is?] had [illegible] if a [illegible] is well. The Mill [Store?] are not here yet, the [illegible] that was to bring [illegible] is sick but I think I can get them here by this time we will want them. The last I feel from [illegible] [illegible] they were will. Let me hear from you of this. Yours with respect [illegible] Durant
