"The Monroe Mines" 13th June 1854 T.C. Durant [illegible] Dear Sir, We are still confirming driving the [illegible] on their No3, but results, just as when I last wrote you. We are now in 30th [illegible]. The Captain has been trying the surface in different places, and washing the Earth. and in a [illegible] South [Car?] pour shaft [illegible]. Found a [illegible] but in I'm developing it farther. Found it to a feeder (or branch) [illegible] with No1 [illegible] of [illegible] [illegible] very [illegible]. and I think [illegible] [illegible] the Captain, is acting on in a very good one.
