Chicago Nov 10th 1856 Dear Brother I [?] a letter yesterday from Mr Johnson giving the [result?] of some ore [?] they have just [had?] [?] [?] [been?] 15. I must say that it turned out better than I expected. If the Silver Hill Co gives us a honest [?] of the ore that they have it will open their eyes. Mr Johnson says that they now [?] to [?], and [?] my [?] to the city [?]. But they need not wait for me for I shall have nothing to do with it. If that ore at Silver Hill turns out as I expect it will, I think it will be a good time for [?] to sell out to some [?] [?] [?] [?] [?] Yours Truly W F Durant
