Durant Esq Nassau St Dear Sir, Referring to our letter of the 22nd Nov 1865, we find the amount due by you to Mr. Powers to be, [British pound] 325 - stg - which with interest to date, say [British pound] 31. 5/9 amounts to [British pound] 356. 5/9 Equal, at 109% Ex. to $1725.95 Gold - say Seventeen Hundred Twenty five & 95/100 dollars - which amount we shall be pleased to receive from you - Yours faithfully Dehon, Clark & Bridges [Antiquities?]
