Washington, Nov 26th, 1866. Mr. T. C. Duran Esq - I Andrew Dallas your Humble Servant write you these few lines who was in your imploy as cook for from the 7th of April untill the 12th of November and I tried to give you all the satisfaction that a christian could do I did or prehaps you have heard of me having been charged with things which I am not guilty of By my superiors But I have paid for all that has been charged me and I have done the Best I can. I always have tried Doctor to do the Best I can and I still think you will do the Best you can towards me But though
