sweet peace of mind with pathath all understanding through they own atoneing & precious bloved. was at the grave yard to day & yesteray last sabbath it is very bare will save seeds to plant flowers next spring if I live. O Jesus take me in they heavenly care help, protect guide me through life that I may live closer to the cross O dear Jesus guard all my thoughts my tongue that they speak no guile myself I nothing. But O feel some strong in thy holy through holy blove I feel I can do all things through christ wo strengthens me help us all to meet in heaven. heaven sweet heaven wher Jesus is Oct 10th 1869. This morning Will & I whent down to meeting heard Mr Miller done a very good sermon after the preaching was over Mr Griffin spoke a few words about the "Bible Society" that he was the County Agent. &c had a collection in the methodist church by him [?] Miller raised 11 dollars half of which was payed down & this old G. arose and said he would rather be [?] when Will said Miss Mathis it was second pretty fast &c Mr Griffin said the local agents report was both true & correct
