that could be found were a few notes by Mrs. J.R. Alexander bringing the list of members up to 1882. Jan. 22nd 1878 Mrs. Geo. Wilson's sister, Miss Hattie Lansley became a member. Feb. 5th Mrs. Liddia Nott joined, Apr. 2nd Mrs. A.S. Marshall's name was added; May7th Mrs. J.M. Platt joined; June 18th Mrs. Phoebe Carson became a member and July 16th Mrs. D.R. Hindman's name was added. Mrs. Nott resigned and Mrs. R.M. Jackson took her place. In Dec 1879 Mrs. Carrie La Grange became a member. July 6th 1880 Mrs. Susie Elliott joined. July 20th of the same year Mrs. J.R. Alexander became a member and on Sept 20th Mrs. E.L. Samson's name was added. Mrs. Geo. Cook became a member Jan. 25th 1881 and Feb. 28 Mrs. W.W. Gist joined. [Annotation on side of page pointing to Mrs. W.W. Gist: Still living 1939.] Apr. 4th 1882 Mrs. C.W. Burgess became a member. Were unable to find when the club was disbanded but this is all the record we have till it was reorganized in 1889. From then on we have the printed programs for each year but no secretaries reports till 1899.
