Crisp biscuits
Take 5 Eggs leaving out two of the whites, 1 lb of Loaf Sugar beat fine put it to the Eggs beat them twenty minuts with the hand, 1 lb of flour stir it lightly in drop them on tins bake them in a moderate oven - 
A Plumb Cake - 
4 Teacupfulls of flour - one do of Butter one do of cream, 1 do of Sugar 2 ounces of candid Lemon 4 Eggs, currants a little yeast, beat it all well a [illegible] , then put it into a cool oven to rise as the oven heats
Cheese Fondues
a peice of Butter some flour and milk set on the stove to simmer then add some grated cheese & a little mustard 4 Eggs, the whites beat to a froth add the white of Egg just before you put it in the oven - 
To Polish Mahogany Tables
Take a 1/4 of an ounce of the finest white soap, grate it small & put it into a new glazed earthen vessel, with a pint of water; hold it over the fire till the soap is dissolved; then add the same quantity of Bleached wax cut into small peices & 3 ounce of common wax as soon as the whole is incorporated, it is fit for use -
