Oak Bark 1 oz of oak bark well bruised to be boiled in a quart of water to a pint to be strained when cold Add to a pint of the decoction a tea spoonful alum Decoction of Poppies 1 pint Cerussa Acetata 1 drachm Plain Jelly for Chn 1 calves feet well boild the juice of 2 or 3 oranges or lemons, the rind of one lemon & sweeten it to your palate, clarify it with the white of 5 eggs - no spice or wine
