to one qt when used put to a qr of a pint of milk a quarter of a pint of the jelly & warm it [illegible] drinking. Cold Cream Take of the best white wax half a cake; dissolve it over slow fire in half a pint of oil of sweet almonds; then throw the whole into a [illegible] bason full of cold water & beat it about briskly for half an hour with a silver spoon, pour off this water & add as much fresh, beat it again for the same time; then this water is to be poured off again & a quart of the best rose water added in place of it. It will be necessary to keep continually beating this for at least an hour longer; when it is to be put into
