A Diet bread Cake seven eggs leave out two whites put 3 1/4 lb of loaf sugar into a 1/4 pint of water sit it on the fire till the sugar is dissolved when it is as hot as you can bear your finger in by degrees put it to the eggs whisk it 1/2 an hour then stir into it 1/2 lb of flour well dried bake it in a tin pan well lined with paper you may add seeds if you please take care not to put the flour in till your oven is ready.
