Rice pudding To half a pound of ground rice put a pint of boiled milk let it stand till cold then add three or four eggs and boil it as you would a batter pudding........ To dress Macaroni Boil three ounces of Macaroni covered with water till it is quite tender, let an onion be boiled with it - strain it from the water - then put a teacup and half of Cream, and ounce & half of Butter rolled in flour, and a little salt - as soon as the Butter is Melted, grate in a little cheese & keep it stirring all the time, let it boil five minutes, then put it in the dish, grate two ounces & a quarter
