Treacle Pudding 1/4 lb Suet chopped fine, 2 oz flour, 2 oz Bread-crumbs, the juice of 1/2 Lemon, 1/2 Teaspoonful Soda, mixed together with as much Treacle as will make it as thick as Butter. Boil 2 hours & serve with melted Butter Ginger-[bread?] Nuts. 1 1/2 lbs flour. 1 lb moist Sugar, 3/4 lb Butter 1 oz Ginger, 1 oz candied Lemon. 1/2 lb Treacle bake them in a slow Oven Old [Woman's?] Cordial A Pint Gin. 1 Pint Peppermint Water 1 lb Treacle - & a Tablespoonful essence of Ginger - Two Teaspoonsful of this Mixture to be taken in a cup boiling water with Sugar when in pain
