Italian Salad Lady [Blielfort] Fillets of cold chicken or turkey, soles or quenelles, hard-boiled eggs cut up, anchovies, beet root and salad. The cold fillets to be put on the top of the salad. "Nutrition drink for an Invalid" 2 oz Sago or Tapioca boiled for 20 minutes in a pint of water or in milk Gin Punch Half a pint of old gin, a gill of maraschino the juice of 2 lemons, the rind of half a one, 4 oz syrup, a quart bottle of seltzer water. Ice it well [Brown] Bread Ice Prepare [8 ounces] of brown bread crumbs, dry thru and [mix] a pint of double cream add 6 oz of sugar sifted a [small] glassful of liquor or a few drops of [illegible] of orange. mix and freeze
